Emily Browne is a poet in the M.F.A. program and an adjunct lecturer in the English Department at Brooklyn College. In her writing, she delves into the emotions revolving around death, grief, and spirituality through Californian landscapes and biota.


Anneysa Gaille: anneysagaille@gmail.com

Anneysa Gaille grew up along the banks of Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas. In 2018 her chapbook, No Such Thing As, was published by the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at the University of Chicago. Gaille served on The Brooklyn Review as the Visual Arts and Poetry editor from 2019 to 2021 and is now an editor-at-large. She recently received her Poetry MFA from Brooklyn College, where she is an adjunct lecturer in the English Department.

Erika Kielsgard teaches English literature and creative writing for CUNY and is an alumna of Brooklyn College's MFA Program, where she serves as an editor-at-large of The Brooklyn Review. Her poems have found generous homes in Bone Bouquet, Cordella Magazine, The Penn Review, and others; most recently, you can find her fiction in Maudlin House and hear her read for The Brooklyn Rail’s New Social Environment #226: Radical Poetry Reading. Her teaching interests include experimental poetry, forms and genres, ekphrasis, the art of research writing, translation, and expressive arts therapy.

Virginia Marshall is a first-year student in Brooklyn College's Fiction MFA program. She's working on a novel that combines folk tales and historical fiction. She also writes nonfiction.
